On the episode of the Magic School Bus I watched last night; the class is in charge of operating a midway Ferris wheel (weird); but there is no electricity. So they are tasked with finding alternate sources of energy. Why? Because there is a long line of people eager to step onto this death trap run by children.
Ultimately this results in the children developing a Rube-Goldberg-esque set-up where the Ferris wheel is powered by GIANT BOULDERS BEING FLUNG OFF A CLIFF AND LANDING IN THE SEATS! The overall maintenance of this operation is overseen by a random 7-year-old (not even one of the core kids, but Mikey, Carlos’ younger brother!); and dozens of people get on this ride!
Again, there are boulders just free-flying through the air—after being shot out of a cannon and rolling down a hastily-constructed funnel and launched off a CLIFF, landing right next to you! SO DANGEROUS! Not to mention noisy.
Anyway I’ve included a graphic in case you wanted to see for yourselves.
